The house is located on the edge of a small hamlet, Saint Jacques, a sub-municipality of Trois-Ponts. You can't call it a 'one-horse-town', but that's only because the neighbour has a lot of horses
The region is the 'Haute Ardenne', the easternmost part of the Ardennes and one of the most beautiful regions of Belgium.
Various shops just an 8-minute drive away, including a large supermarket with an extensive range of delicacies and regional products.
Situated under Liège/Verviers, between Stavelot and Vielsalm. This is easily accessible from both Flanders and the Netherlands.
Several hiking, cycling and MTB routes are right next to the house. The Via Arduinna, the southernmost of the pilgrim routes to Santiago de Compostella in Belgium, passes right by the door. The natural and quiet location also makes it a paradise for birds.
